If your a freelance designer, one way to make some money online and get your name and skills out there is DesignCrowd. People post their projects on DesignCrowd and freelance designers enter their designs in contests and specific projects.

Then the person who posted the project or contest will look at all designs submitted and pick the winners. There can be more than one winner, and once the winning designs are picked they are then paid. Commissions differentiate per project, anywhere from $20 to $3000.
