Do you have stuff around the house that you dont need? Gather it up, take some pictures of each item, and post it on ebay! Ebay is one of the top websites to sell your stuff. You can sell pretty much anything! They give you the choice of selling your stuff in an auction format, or for a flat price.
Watch out tho! Ebay's fees are ridiculously high! They dont take out their fees per sold item, they make you pay once a month. If you choose to have paypal as an accepted form of payment, Paypal also has fees of their own. I do not recommend using ebay if you have bad money management.
Ebay just might work for you, but for those who think that the fees are too high, I HIGHLY recommend Amazon.
Wikipedia describes ebay : eBay Inc. (stylized as ebay) is an American multinational internet consumer-to-consumer corporation, headquartered in San Jose, California. It was founded in 1995, and became a notable success story of the dot-com bubble; it is now a multi-billion dollar business with operations localized in over thirty countries.[4][5] The company manages eBay.com, an online auction and shopping website in which people and businesses buy and sell a broad variety of goods and services worldwide. In addition to its auction-style sellings, the website has since expanded to include "Buy It Now" standard shopping; shopping by UPC, ISBN, or other kind of SKU (via Half.com); online classified advertisements (via Kijiji or eBay Classifieds); online event ticket trading (via StubHub); online money transfers (via PayPal)[6] and other services.
