With the Drive Alive app you can earn rewards and cash for being a safe driver! The idea of this app is to motivate drivers to not text or use their phone while they are driving. 

Download the app to your phone and make an account. Once you make an account and your ready to drive you simply log in and press the start trip button. Once you start driving you cannot text on your phone, or make phone calls. You cant go check your facebook, instagram or any other social media accounts. Once you have finished driving and arrived at your destination hit the End Trip button. Then the app will verify that you are stopped, send the trip data and display your trip stats. 

You lose credit for started trip if you:
-Drive while the application is ending a trip
-Answer the phone
-Open any other application
-Pressing the home button after a trip has started
-Locking the screen
-Using iOS's top pull down menu or bottom pull up menu. 
-Double tapping the "Home" button

The following will not cause loss of trip credit:
-Receiving a call or text but not responding
-Letting the phone screen turn off by going idle. 
-Touching the screen without closing the app, opening a new one using iOS's top pull down menu or bottom pull up menu. 

Make sure to keep your phone plugged in or is fully charged when using this app! The continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.
